* Two persons arrested for selling drugs to school students

May 31, Colombo: Two persons who allegedly sold drugs to school students have been arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF).

According to the information received by the special operations officers of the Special Task Force, a raid was conducted at Dutugemunu Mawatha in Peliyagoda and two people were arrested with 400 drug pills.

The suspects are residents of Pudukuduirippu and Mullaitivu areas.

Further investigations have revealed that the suspects have been selling the drug pills targeting school students in Peliyagoda area.

The two suspects have been handed over to the Peliyagoda Police for further investigation.
