* Ante LECO Metering Company increases production capacity of electric meters

June 09, Colombo: Ante LECO Metering Company (Pvt) Ltd., a subsidiary of LECO, annually produces 250,000 Single Phase meters required by Ceylon electricity Board and LECO in Sri Lanka.

From this year, the company will expand its services and start the production of three-phase electric meters and smart electric meters.

With the expansion the company plans to fulfill the entire domestic requirement for single phase, 3 phase & smart meters & plans to expand operations to target the export markets in the future.

Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera met the Chairman Ante Meter Group, officials of LECO & ANTE LECO Metering company yesterday to discuss future plans & introduce their new meters.
