June 08, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s largest state-owned retail chain Lanka Sathosa has announced in a statement that it has further reduced the prices of ten essential consumer items.

Sathosa also says that this discounted price will be effective from tomorrow in all country wide Sathosa outlets.

Prices of Mung beans, Dry Chilies, Red Lentil, Red Nadu rice, Sprats (Thai), wheat flour, Soya Meat (bulk), Red Kekulu rice, grams, and white sugar have been reduced from tomorrow (June 09).

Accordingly, new prices are shown below:
