* Sri Lanka seeks training opportunities for tri forces personnel in Israel

June 07, Colombo: Defense Attaché of the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi, Colonel Avihay Zafrany paid a courtesy call on the Defense Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne at the Defense Ministry in Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte on Tuesday (June 05).

During the meeting, Gen. Gunaratne and Col. Zafrany had cordial discussions on further enhancing training opportunities for Sri Lanka tri forces personnel and enhancing defense cooperation between both countries.

Mementoes were also exchanged during the meeting to mark the occasion.

Military Liaison Officer of the Defense Ministry, Brigadier Dhammika Welagedara and President of Glopac Ltd. Zevi Josef were also present at the occasion.
