Jan 30, Colombo: Thalangama Police say two people who were filming around the Parliament have been arrested.

The two suspects who had come near the main entrance G1 while taking video footage of the area around the Parliament were arrested by the police officers belonging to the Parliament Division.

During the questioning, the suspects have said they had come to get footage to make a video for a song.

The suspects, aged 22 and 31 years old, are residents of Mahaiyava, Kandy and Vaiman Road, Jaffna,

Thalangama police station is conducting further investigations regarding the suspects.
