* Details of Dinesh Schaftter’s death will be revealed in a fortnight

Jan 28, Colombo: Public Security Minister Tiran Alles said that the information regarding the death of Mr. Dinesh Schaftetr, who was a director of Janashakti Group, will be informed to everyone including the media within the next two weeks.

The minister said this while participating in a press conference held yesterday (27) at the Ministry of Public Security in Suhurupaya, Battaramulla.

The Minister said that most of the investigations regarding Schaftter’s death have been completed and it is not possible to say whether it was a murder or a suicide at this time.

In addition, the investigations regarding the millions of rupees found in the President’s House on July 09 have been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department, and when the CID report is received, the truth of the cash will be known, the Minister said.
