Jan 27, Colombo: Sri Lanka Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry who is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia met with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud on Thursday in Riyadh.
Sri Lanka Embassy in Riyadh said Foreign Minister Ali Sabry had a productive discussion with the Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and the discussion covered enhancement of bilateral relations, increase investment and employment.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields. They also discussed the consolidation of bilateral coordination in many political, security, and multilateral fields at various levels.
The two ministers exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern.
Minister Ali Sabry also thanked Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for help with International Monetary Fund (IMF) debt restructuring and support in international fora.
Later, Prince Faisal held a luncheon in honor of the Sri Lankan minister and his accompanying delegation Saudi Gazette reported.
