Sept 30, Colombo: Arjun Aloysius, director of Perpetual Treasuries Company, has been ordered to appear before the court on 03rd October in connection with an incident of non-payment of income tax amounting to Rs. 5.32 billion to the government.
Colombo Additional Magistrate T. N. Ilangasinghe has issued the summons in relation to a case filed before the court by the Inland Revenue Department.
The Inland Revenue Department has filed this case against the director of Perpetual Treasuries Company Arjun Aloysius before the Colombo Magistrate Court for defrauding the government failing to pay income tax amounting to Rs. 5,328,428,555.00.
