* Court issues notice to State Minister Diana Gamage

Nov 28, Colombo: The Court of Appeal today ordered to proceed with the writ petition filed by lawyer Mr. Asil Faris against State Minister Diana Gamage requesting the abolition of her Parliamentary post due to her holding a British citizenship.

Accordingly, the Court of Appeal issued a notice to State Minister Diana Gamage to appear before the court and present facts in court on December 12th.

The Court also ordered State Minister Diana Gamage to present all documents regarding British citizenship to the Court of Appeal on that day.
