* Members nominated to the Parliamentary Select Committee on ease of doing business

Nov 16, Colombo: Speaker of Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana announced to the House today (16) the appointment of members to the Select Committee of Parliament to study the ease of doing business with Sri Lanka.

The Select Committee is asked to study the practical problems and difficulties that have arisen in relation to enhancing the rank in the Ease of Doing Business Index in Sri Lanka and make its proposals and recommendations.

MP Madhura Withanage appointed as the Chair to serve on the Committee.

Minister Naseer Ahamed, MPs A. Aravindh Kumar, Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, Dharmalingam Sithadthan, Mohomad Muzammil, Chaminda Wijesiri, Waruna Liyanage, Sanjeeva Edirimanna, Nalaka Bandara Kottegoda, Kokila Gunawardene, Lalith Varna Kumara were appointed to serve as the members in the respective Committee.
