Dec 09, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s largest state owned retail chain Lanka Sathosa has further reduced the prices of three essential consumer items. Sathosa also says that this discounted price will be effective from today (Dec 09) in all country wide Sathosa outlets.

According to a statement issued by Sathosa, this step has been taken with the aim of providing relief to the consumers during the upcoming festive season.

Accordingly, the price of a kilogram of Keeri Samba will be reduced by 10 rupees to 215 rupees and price of a kilo of B onions will be reduced by 16 rupees to 199 rupees.

The price of 425 grams of canned fish is reduced by 35 rupees and the new price is 495 rupees.
