Nov 30, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s largest state owned retail chain Lanka Sathosa has further reduced the prices of four essential consumer items. Sathosa also says that this discounted price will be effective from tomorrow (Dec 01) in all country wide Sathosa outlets.

Accordingly, the price of a kilo of red chillies will be reduced by 6 rupees to 199 rupees and price of a kilo of keeri samba will be reduced by 15 rupees to 225 rupees.

Sathosa further said that the price of a kilo of big onions will be reduced by 30 rupees to 225 rupees and a kilo of dried sprats will be reduced by 150 rupees to 1150 rupees.
