* HNB Finance provides relief to Nawalapitiya flood victims

Aug 17, Colombo: Responding to the critical needs of the people affected by severe floods in the Nawalapitiya region, HNB Finance PLC’s Nawalapitiya Branch spearheaded an expedited campaign on August 5, 2022, to supply rations in an effort to provide relief and nutrition to those affected by the flooding caused due to continuous rain.

With the support of all the staff members from the Nawalapitiya Branch who showcased an exceptional level of teamwork, they were able to distribute a total of 500 food packets, clothes and sanitary rations to affected victims.

“Severe flooding caused damage to homes and lives in Nawalapitiya, and the response from our Nawalapitiya Branch has been heart-warming. This showcases not only our company’s commitment to upholding public wellbeing, but also the individual commitment and care in the hearts of our staff members. I sincerely thank each and every one of our staff members who contributed to helping the people of Nawalapitiya,” commented HNB Finance PLC Managing Director/CEO Chaminda Prabhath.
