The case related to this incident was called before Colombo High Court Judge Damith Thotawatta today. The State counsel who represented the Attorney General informed the court that further investigations related to this incident will be conducted.

The State counsel also asked the court to give a date to report its progress of the investigation. Accepting the request, the High Court judge ordered the relevant complaint to be called on September 21 and informed the State counsel to report the progress of the investigations that day.
