May 28, Colombo: With the approval of the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security and the Public Service Commission, the IGP has transferred several senior officers of the Sri Lanka Police on service requirements, Police Headquarters said.

Accordingly, Senior DIG MDRS Daminda has been transferred from the post of Senior DIG in charge of the Southern Province to the post of Senior DIG in charge of the Eastern Province.

Senior DIG in charge of the Crime and Traffic Division Ajith Rohana has been transferred as the Senior DIG in charge of the Southern Province.

Acting Senior DIG LKWK Silva has been transferred from the post of Senior DIG in charge of the Eastern Province to the post of Senior DIG in charge of the Crime and Traffic Division.
