* LP gas distribution halted until next Tuesday, Litro says
Fri, May 27, 2022, 10:50 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

May 27, Colombo: State-owned supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Litro Gas says the distribution of domestic gas cylinders will begin in the middle of next week.

Due to this Litro also requested the public not to wait in queues to buy gas cylinders.

Payments have already been made for two ships of 3,500 metric tons each. One of the ships is scheduled to reach the island next Monday. Accordingly, Litro is confident that the distribution of domestic gas cylinders will take place from next Tuesday.

However, people are still waiting in line to get gas. Domestic gas cylinders were not released to the market today for the 4th consecutive day.
