May 22, Colombo: Kanchana Wijesekera, Minister of Power and Energy said two diesel and one petrol tanker ships are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka within the next 10 days.
The Minister said that diesel and petrol were being unloaded from two ships that arrived yesterday but the other consignment of petrol could not be unloaded until the completion of work on the two ships currently being unloaded.
Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said the manager of the filling station will be informed when the fuel delivery from Kolonnawa or Muthurajawela terminals to the particular station begins. It will allow the filling station to know when the fuel will arrive, he said.
