May 20, Colombo: The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has decided to suspend the supply of fuel to petrol stations that have acted contrary to the rules and regulations of the CPC.
Several teams have been deployed to inspect petrol stations operating contrary to the relevant instructions and according to their investigations, the supply of fuel to several filling stations has been stopped.

In a statement, the CPC said complaints were received reports about certain filling stations which had hoarded fuel volumes for making profits.
