* Pharmacies, nursing homes allowed to open during curfew

May 13, Colombo: Permission has been granted to keep government and private pharmacies as well as private nursing homes and treatment centers open until 7;00 pm during the curfew period.

Measure has been taken on the orders of the Commissioner General of Essential Services to allow the patient community to obtain emergency treatment and medication without difficulty, even during the current curfew period.

Meanwhile, the curfew imposed at 2 pm today will remain in effect until 6 am tomorrow. Curfew will be relaxed from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm tomorrow (14).
