Jan 28, Colombo: The national program to mark the one year anniversary of the Covid vaccination program in Sri Lanka will be held tomorrow at 10.06 am under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Health Ministry.

To coincide with the event, provincial governors will conduct programs covering all 9 provinces. The Health Ministry has informed programs will also be conducted at provincial, district and regional health offices and hospitals.

A special discussion on this subject was held under the patronage of the Minister of Health Dr. Keheliya Rambukwella at the Ministry Auditorium recently. State Ministers Dr. Sudarshani Fernandopulle and Prof. Channa Jayasumana were also present on the occasion.

Ambassadors and High Commissioners of foreign countries who donated the vaccines to Sri Lanka to make the vaccination program a success will also be present at the event.
