Feb 23, Colombo: A suspect has been arrested with three counterfeit Rs. 5,000 notes in the 1st Mile Post area in the Minneriya Police Division, police stated.

The police arrested the suspect during a raid conducted yesterday (22) on the information received by the Minneriya Police.

The arrested person is a 38 year old resident of Kirimetiya

The arrested suspect is to be produced before the Hingurakgoda Magistrate’s Court today (23)
