* Proposals to Parliament to formalize the community-based correction process

Oct 27, Colombo: A number of parties will submit their proposals to Parliament Thursday to formalize the community-based correction process in Sri Lanka Parliament Communication Department said.

Public opinion and suggestions regarding the report prepared to further formalize the community-based correction system in Sri Lanka will be taken for discussion in Parliament tomorrow.

A special discussion will be held under the guidance of the Assistant Secretary General of Parliament Tikiri K. Jayathilake.

Representatives of various organizations and institutions representing the civil society will be in attendance at the said meeting. The event will be LIVE telecasted on Facebook and YouTube from 10.00 am tomorrow (28).
