* Another stock of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines arrives in the island

Oct 19, Colombo: Another consignment of the U.S. manufactured Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine purchased by the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation (SPC) has arrived in Sri Lanka early Tuesday.

This consignment of 608,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine weighing 1,818 kilograms was packed in 53 containers. The stock was flown to Bandaranaike International Airport from Amsterdam via Doha on a Qatar Airways cargo flight QR-668 which arrived around 2:15 am Tuesday.
