* Coronavirus update: 350 new COVID-19 cases identified Friday, total rises to 84,960

Mar 05, Colombo: According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 350 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Friday.

Among the positive cases identified Friday are 325 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster, 13 of the prison cluster and 12 foreign arrivals.

According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 10 pm Friday, a total of 84,960 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 3,146 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 609 individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.

Sri Lanka reported four deaths on Friday raising the total to 493 and 81,381 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
