Mar 04, Colombo: State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Prof. Channa Jayasumana has announced that the emergency use of Russia’s Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine has been approved in Sri Lanka.
Approval has been granted by the National Medicines Regulatory Authority of Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announcing the registration of the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V in Sri Lanka under the emergency use authorization (EUA) procedure said 43 countries with the total population over 1.1 billion people registered the Sputnik V.
