* Sri Lanka Embassy in Doha facilitates donation of 100 oxygen cylinders

June 30, Colombo: Further strengthening the battle against the Covid-19 epandemic, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Doha facilitated the third air shipment of 100 Medical Oxygen Cylinders with the capacity of 50 Liters each, to the Government of Sri Lanka.

The donation was made by well-wishers upon the urgent request made by M. Mafaz Mohideen, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the State of Qatar.

The SriLankan Airlines airlifted the consignment on Free of Charge basis. The consignment of Oxygen Cylinders were delivered to the Foreign Ministry of Sri Lanka, and are expected to be distributed among the Government hospitals to enhance the capacity of the health sector.

The Sri Lankan Embassy said it will continue this initiative extending its fullest cooperation to the Sri Lankan Government contain the spread of COVID-19.
