July 31, Colombo: Sri Lanka Saturday reported that 61 deaths due to COVID-19 occurred on Friday, July 30, 2021.
The Director General of Health Services has confirmed that 61 deaths occurred on Friday, July 30 due to the COVID-19.
Among the Friday’s deaths, 36 are of males and 25 of females. The majority of the deaths numbering 42 are of elderly people in the 60 years and above age group.
According to the data reported by the Government Information Department, the total deaths due to Covid-19 since the pandemic began has now risen to 4,441 including the deaths confirmed Friday.
