* Coronavirus update: 1,413 new COVID-19 cases identified Tuesday, total rises to 277,519

July 13, Colombo: According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 1,413 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Tuesday.

Among the new cases reported Tuesday, 1,404 are from the New Year cluster and 09 are foreign arrivals currently in quarantine.

According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 10:30 pm Tuesday, a total of 277,519 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 26,417 infected patients are being treated at hospitals, while 247,569 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.

According to the Epidemiology Unit report, so far total of 4,215,519 people have received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 1,504,809 have received the second dose.
