Jan 12, Colombo: The Police have arrested three persons for obstructing the duties of the Public Health Inspectors at the Wellawaya Medical Officer of Health and using obscene language.

With the reporting of four people infected with coronavirus in the Yalabowa area of Wellawaya, a group of public health inspectors who went to look for the associates of the infected people, have been harassed and obstructed by the suspects

According to the Neth News three suspects were present at the scene without any face masks. They have threatened the public health inspectors with obscene language when they were told to wear face masks.

Public Health Inspectors have visited the Wellawaya bus stand due to the presence of relevant associates in a shop.
