Feb 23, Colombo: According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 492 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Tuesday.

Among the positive cases identified Tuesday are 477 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster, and 15 associates of the prison cluster.

According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 10 pm Tuesday, a total of 81,009 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 4,714 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 559 individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.

Sri Lanka reported three deaths Tuesday raising the total to 453 and 75,842 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
