* Coronavirus update: 519 new COVID-19 cases identified Sunday, total rises to nearly 80,000

Feb 21, Colombo: According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 519 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Sunday.

Among the positive cases identified Sunday are 495 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster, 23 associates of the prison cluster and one foreign arrival.

According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 9:45 pm Sunday, a total of 79,999 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 5,255 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 617 individuals are currently suspected of infection and hospitalized.

Sri Lanka reported ten deaths Sunday raising the total to 445 and 74,299 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
