* Coronavirus update: 543 new COVID-19 cases identified Saturday, total rises to 79,480

Feb 20, Colombo: According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 543 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Saturday.

Among the positive cases identified Saturday are 528 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster and 15 arrivals from overseas.

According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 9:40 pm Saturday, a total of 79,480 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 5,589 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 617 individuals are currently suspected of infection and hospitalized.

Sri Lanka reported two deaths Saturday raising the total to 435 and 73,456 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
