Feb 19, Colombo: According to Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 517 new COVID-19 cases were reported so far on Friday.

Among the positive cases identified Friday are 506 associates of the Peliyagoda COVID-19 cluster and 11 arrivals from overseas.

According to the Epidemiology Unit report at 11:30 pm Friday, a total of 78,937 COVID-19 cases have been reported and 5,938 infected patients are being treated at hospitals. Another 617 individuals are currently suspected of infection and hospitalized.

Sri Lanka reported 03 deaths Friday raising the total to 433 and 72,566 patients have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
