Apr 21, Colombo: The Mrs. World Inc Organization, which organizes the Mrs. World Beauty pageant has accepted the resignation of Caroline Jurie of Sri Lanka who was crowned as the Mrs. World 2020.

The Mrs. World Inc. Organization noted that Jurie’s voluntary resignation decision was made solely by Caroline herself and wished her best.

“Her voluntary resignation decision was made solely by Caroline herself. We wish Mrs. Jurie and her family, all the best in their future endeavors,” the statement said.

Accordingly, the first runner up, Mrs. Ireland World, Kate Schneider, will now become the new Mrs. World 2020, the organization said in a statement.

Caroline Jurie has decided to relinquish her Mrs. World crown following a crisis that arose at the end of the 2021 Mrs. World Sri Lanka pageant held recently in Colombo.
