* Financial assistance to those killed and injured in the Passara bus accident

Apr 04, Colombo: Financial assistance was provided to the families of those killed and injured in the recent fatal bus accident in Passara.

It was held at the Lunugala Pradeshiya Sabha auditorium yesterday. At least 14 people were killed and 25 others were injured in an accident in Passara on March 20.

Fifty thousand rupees was given to the family of a person who died in the accident and ten thousand rupees to a person who was injured.

Member of Parliament Chamara Sampath Dasanayake was also present at the occasion.
