Tue, Sep 15, 2020, 11:55 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

Sept 15, Colombo: Three wheelers and motorbikes should travel in the bus priority lane from tomorrow (16), said Senior DIG in charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon.

The Colombo city traffic lane law, which had been suspended during the coronavirus pandemic, was resumed from yesterday.

The traffic law will be enforced to ease traffic congestion in Colombo in the morning. For this purpose, four main roads entering Colombo have been selected.

The Ceylon Private Bus Owners' Association is protesting against the permission given to three wheelers and motorcycles to travel in the bus priority lane.
