* Party leaders will meet tomorrow

Oct 28, Colombo: A meeting of party leaders has been scheduled for tomorrow (29) afternoon to discuss the future activities of the Parliament, the Leader of the House, Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said.

The Leader of the House further said the meeting will discuss how the parliament will convene in the future.

Although it is true that there is some spread of the coronavirus epidemic, but there is no need to adjourn Parliament, he said.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at the Parliament premises and Parliament has been closed for two days and completely disinfected after it was confirmed that a person entering the Parliament premises had contracted COVID-19.
