* Over 15,000 PCR tests conducted at BOI institutions

Oct 18, Colombo: More than 15,000 PCR tests have been carried out in institutions under the Board of Investment (BOI) alone, State Minister of Aviation and Export Processing Zones DV Chanaka said.

The PCR tests were performed in the last few days. The Ministry of Airports and Investment Zones Development is focusing on maintaining the production process while ensuring the employee safety, the Minister said.

Meanwhile, 67,884 PCR tests have been conducted on people associated with the Divulapitiya COVID-19 cluster, according to Ministry of Health. Of these, 2,016 have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
