Nov 30, Colombo: Sri Lanka reported two more deaths Sunday due to COVID-19 raising the death toll from the viral disease to 118, according to health authorities.
The Director General of Health Services has confirmed 02 deaths from COVID-19 infected patients and accordingly the total number of deaths from COVID-19 infected patients reported from Sri Lanka is 118.
01. A 72 year old male resident of Galaha area died on admission to Peradeniya Teaching Hospital on November 278, 2020. Cause of death was a heart attack associated with high blood pressure, diabetes and COVID-19 infection.
02. An 81 year old woman from Atulugama area has died November 28, 2020 at home. The leading cause of death is exacerbation of high blood pressure and diabetes associated with COVID-19.
