* Two more COVID-19 deaths reported in Sri Lanka Saturday

Nov 28, Colombo: Sri Lanka reported two more deaths Saturday due to COVID-19 raising the death toll from the viral disease to 109, according to health authorities.

The Director General of Health Services has confirmed 02 deaths from COVID-19 infected patients and accordingly the total number of deaths from COVID-19 infected patients reported from Sri Lanka is 109.

01. A 76-year-old male from Colombo 02 died at the National Hospital in Colombo upon admission on the 26th of November 2020. The cause of death was ruled as High Blood Pressure and Chronic Kidney Disease exacerbated by COVID-19 infection.

02. A 96-year-old female from Colombo 08 died at home on the 27th of November 2020. The cause of death was ruled as asthma and pneumonia associated with COVID-19.
