June 30, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 cases rose to 2047 today with 5 more persons testing positive for the coronavirus, the Health Ministry said.
According to the Health Promotion Bureau report, as of 8 pm Tuesday, 325 patients are receiving treatment at hospitals. Another 49 Individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.
Eleven patients have died while 1,711 patients including the Chinese tourist, who was the first COVID-19 case detected in the country in January, have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
A total of 106,445 PCR tests have been conducted to detect Covid-19 infected persons from February 18 to June 29, according to the Health Promotion Bureau report.
