July 15, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 cases rose to 2,671 today after 6 more persons tested positive for the coronavirus, the Health Ministry said.
According to the Health Promotion Bureau report, as of 8 pm Wednesday, 569 patients are receiving treatment at hospitals. Another 150 Individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.
Eleven patients have died while 2,001 patients including the Chinese tourist, who was the first COVID-19 case detected in the country in January, have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
A total of 127920 PCR tests have been conducted to detect Covid-19 infected persons from February 18 to July 14, according to the Health Promotion Bureau report.
