Dec 03, Colombo: The expenditure head for the Defense Ministry under the 2021 Appropriation Bill was passed Thursday in Parliament with a majority of 132 votes.

A vote has been called for the 3rd Reading on the Ministry of Defense budget by the All Ceylon Tamil Congress Party MP Selvarajah Gajendran.

The vote on the 3rd Reading called on the Ministry of Defense received 137 votes for and 5 votes against.

MPs Selvarajah Gajendran, Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam, Selvam Adaikalanathan, Govinthan Karunakaran, and Vino Nohrathalingham have voted against the 3rd Reading vote called on the Ministry of Defense.
