* Education Ministry releases CD containing instructions for prevention of COVID-19

Aug 10, Colombo: The Ministry of Education has released a compact disc containing instructions for prevention of COVID-19 recently and taken measures to provide the CD to all the schools in the country.

The compact disc named ‘Healthy living through good habits” was officially handed over to the Secretary of Education for the purpose of issuing and distributing among schools last week.

The CD produced with the sponsorship of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation contains the guidelines for schools about the prevention of COVID-19 in line with the circular and the guidelines that have been already issued by the Ministry of Education according to the instructions and directions of the health authorities to make the entire school community aware of the prevention of spreading COVID-19.

The arrangements have been made to distribute the CDs to all the schools in the island when the schools are reopened.

In addition to this, the opportunity has been provided to obtain the instructions contained in this CD from the official website of the ministry of education www.moe.gov.lk, from YouTube using the Barcode given in the CD or from the Website of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation.
