* CSE to recommence trading on Monday

May 09, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s bourse, Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) will resume trading from Monday, May 11 after being closed for more than a month due to the curfew imposed in Colombo district.

“In view of the decision made by the Government that both public and private sector entities in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Puttalam should re-commence work from 11th May 2020, Trading on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) will resume on Monday, 11th May 2020,” the CSE said in a media release.

The Trading hours will be as follows:
Pre-open session - from 10.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
Open Auction - at 11.00 a.m.
Regular Trading - will commence after the Open Auction at 11.00 a.m.
Market close - at 1.00 p.m.
