May 02, Colombo: The issuance of licenses for the transportation of sand, soil, and gravel will resume on May 11, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said.

The licenses will be issued through remote methods in keeping with health guidelines to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus and therefore applicants are not required to visit the offices to fulfill their requirements, the GSMB said.
