Wed, Mar 25, 2020, 11:58 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

Mar 25, Colombo: Sri Lanka Police are urging the public to immediately provide information on individuals who should be isolated but avoiding quarantine.

Police Media Spokesman SP Jaliya Senaratne said that several special telephone numbers have been introduced for this purpose. Information can be given on 119, 0112444480 and 0112444481.

As a public body working closely with the public, the Sri Lanka Police says it is ready to provide the necessary support to the public, who are confined to their homes due to the curfew, to resolve their day-to-day problems.

Therefore, the public is advised to call the above numbers on any illnesses, power outages, water shortages, medication needs and other social needs that need assistance during the curfew.
