Mar 24, Colombo: The former Sri Lanka Air Force Commander, Marshal of the Air Force Roshan Goonetileke has been appointed as the Governor of the Western Province by the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa Tuesday (March 24).

Marshal of the Air Force Roshan Goonetileke was sworn in before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat, today (24). Secretary to the President Dr. P.B. Jayasundera was present at the occasion.

Roshan Goonetileke succeeds former governor Dr. Seetha Arambepola who resigned to accept a national list parliamentarian appointment.
