* Coronavirus Update: Sri Lanka COVID-19 cases count rises to 97

Mar 24, Colombo: The number of COVID-19 coronavirus infections in Sri Lanka has risen to 97 by this morning, the Ministry of Health said.

However, according to the Health Promotion Bureau, no new new cases have been confirmed today.

While there are no deaths reported in the country from the infection, 229 people including five foreign nationals are in 16 hospitals under observation or receiving treatment.
