* Coronavirus Update: COVID-19 cases rise to 86 in Sri Lanka

Mar 23, Colombo: The number of COVID-19 coronavirus infections in Sri Lanka has risen to 86 today, the Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi said.

According to the Health Promotion Bureau, nine new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by this morning.

While there are no deaths reported in the country from the infection, 222 people including five foreign nationals are in hospitals under observation or receiving treatment.
